Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre e.V.

In Lower Saxony near Cloppenburg, one can find the Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre e.V., which was founded in 1991. The golf park of 86 hectares is embedded in the local recreation area Thülsfelder Talsperre in the Oldenburg Münsterland. The park has a 6,056 meters long 18 hole championship course with par 72 and a public 9 hole course. The latter is designed for beginners: it is easily playable and only 2,882 meters long. Both courses are structured by numerous beautifully arranged water areas and deciduous trees. The course is partly hilly and includes wonderful wetlands. The park impresses with vast fairways and spaciously laid out greens, which challenge players of all handicaps. The 18 hole championship course requires a membership card and a valid license to play golf. The 9 hole course is open for all types of players. Practice opportunities can be found on the driving range with its 16 tees (four of which are covered), on putting, pitching and chipping greens and in practice bunkers. The golf park of the Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre e.V. can be used all year. The local golf school offers lessons or classes. Equipment can be rented on-site. Members and guests can enjoy themselves at the restaurant “Split Food” from April to October.
