Golfclub Westheim e.V.

Golfclub Westheim e.V. is located in the northeast of Sauerland in the district of Marsberg-Westheim, which borders on the nature reserve Teutoberg Forest/Egge Hills to the north. It is around 30 kilometers south of Paderborn and easy to reach due to its proximity to the B7. Founded in 1999, Golfclub Westheim e.V. opened its 18-hole Westheimer course with a par of 71, which was designed by Michael Spangemacher in the parkland/inland style, in 2001. The slightly hilly course has wide, curving fairways. With numerous obstacles like bunkers, biotopes or gentle slopes, they are challenging to play on. The holes that are located on higher ground offer golfers a wonderful view of the surrounding Sauerland. Golfclub Westheim e.V. also has a publically accessible 6-hole Pay & Play course (par 3), which was built on the old ninth hole of the Westheimer course and on parts of the driving range in 2010. Its holes are between 41 and 84 meters long and are suitable for beginners and those looking to practice their short play. The driving range has seven tee-off points, two of which are sheltered. The club’s training facilities also allow golfers to practice putting, pitching and chipping. The club’s own pro shop sells small golf accessories like gloves, tees and balls. Clubs, trolleys and electric carts are available for hire. There are no integrated catering facilities at the golf park.
