Pitch&Putt Golf Groningen

The golf club Pitch&Putt Golf Groningen is situated in the Dutch city of Groningen in the province of the same name. It is located on the grounds of the recreational park Kardinge, which lies before the gates of Groningen. From the city center, the club is 15 minutes away via the Korreweg. Since Groningen has a preferable location as the center of the region, Pitch&Putt Groning can be reached in half an hour from Drachten and the German town of Papenburg. The golf club houses an 18-hole pitch & putt course with par 54. Its fairways are 30 to 60 meters long. The course is flanked by water ditches and canals on several sides, while the middle of the course presents a sports arena lined by trees. The first nine holes are separated from the second nine by the arena. While the fairways of hoes 1 to 9 are straight and shorter, the fairways of holes 10 to 18 are crooked like doglegs. Holes 3 and 5 lead across narrow canals, while holes 8 and 9 share a fairway. Holes 10 and 11 at Pitch&Putt Golf Groningen are also interesting, since their tees lie under the trees of the arena. At holes 12 and 16, golfers need to skillfully play across a grove of trees.
