Enclosed by the nature park Rhine-Sieg between the Bergische Land and the Westerwald, the Gut Heckenhof Hotel & Golfresort an der Sieg GmbH & Co. KG is located on a hill in the town of Eitorf. The golf resort has a good connection to Bonn and Cologne via the A560 and A59. Founded in 1992, the Gut Heckenhof Hotel & Golfresort an der Sieg GmbH & Co. KG now accommodates a 27 hole park with par 72. It was created by the golf course architects Bill Amick and Robin de Wooght and consists of three equivalent 9 hole courses. They are labeled Yellow, Green and Red and can be combined as desired to create three different 18 hole courses. The lightly hilly terrain awaits golfers with large greens, wetlands, water hazards and bunkers, thus challenging even experienced golfers concerning strategy and fitness. Furthermore, the Gut Heckenhof Hotel & Golfresort an der Sieg GmbH & Co. KG includes a public 6 hole pay & play course, on which also beginners will have fun golfing. The practice area of the club includes a driving range of 90,000 square meters with four teeing zones and a total of 74 tees, of which 24 are covered and some have installed floodlights. There are two large putting greens of about 1,500 square meters as well as a practice zone for pitching, chipping and bunker shots.
