The Hammock Creek Golf Club is situated in the town of Palm City, which belongs to Martin County in the US state of Florida. It lies in a residential area, surrounded by pine forests and wetlands, close to the expressway Florida’s Turnpike. Just six minutes from the city center of Palm City, Hammock Creek Golf Club can also be reached in 37 minutes from Palm Beach via the Interstate 95 N. It opened an 18-hole parkland course with par 72 in 1995, the layout of which was designed by the legendary golf course architect Jack Nicklaus and his son Jack Nicklaus Junior. Fast, wavy fairways and multilevel greens shape the 6,509 meter long course. A few doglegs, bunkers and numerous water hazards such as ponds and lakes give the course an athletic and technical challenge. 12 of 18 holes offer Florida-style water hazards, but only 5 holes require playing across water. There are five different tees, so that golfers of all abilities can find the right tee box for their playing level. The Hammock Creek Golf Club offers golfers a driving range on grass, a putting green, and a pitch & putt area for practicing in its practice area. Designed as championship course, it has been home to the Golden Bear Tour since its inception.
