The Handara Golf & Resort Bali is located in the mountain region of Bali. The 18-hole-course with par 72 opened in 1974 is one of the most beautiful golf courses of the island. Handara is located in an extinct volcano crater at an altitude of around 1,140 meters. Even just getting to the Handara Golf & Resort Bali is a highlight. The road winds from the flat coastal region up into the mountains, past traditional Balinese villages and rice fields into the volcanic hill country. The entrance to the golf resort is located directly behind Lake Bedugul. From Nusa Dua the drive is about two hours, from Ubud it takes about an hour. But it is worth it!
