Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club

The club is located on the historical grounds of the county Hertfordshire, north of London. The 18-hole course with par 70 is 5,738 meters long. The course at Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus II in 1995. He carefully inserted the course into the natural surroundings and integrated the lakes and woods of the Hertford landscape into the athletically-demanding course. The signature hole is 15: A raised par 3 that is directed towards an island green. It is open year-round, however, registration prior to visiting is required. For practicing, Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club also offers a driving range with floodlights and practice greens. The well-stocked Pro Shop is managed by a PGA professional who also offer individual and group lessons at the golf school. The club house constitutes an attraction in itself, being a historic castle from the 18th century. Its roots go back as far as the Knight Templars in the 11th century. Following the game, players can meet at the cozy club restaurant or on the patio which is also open to guests. The Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club offers its club members and guests a modern wellness and fitness area with additional athletic activities (yoga, Pilates, body combat, Zumba). Tennis courts are also available, ensuring something for every guest.
