Hyde Mountain Golf Course

A golf course from a picture book! The 18-hole championship course (par 72) at Hyde Mountain Golf Course is located in Sicamous in the Shuswap region. The course was designed by the golf course specialist, Les Furber. While most golf courses boast a “feature hole,” Hyde Mountain is unique, boasting several feature holes! This is due to the phenomenal location of the course and the enormous differences in elevation between holes and the unique panorama views of the mountains and the lake. Hyde Mountain Golf Course is, without a doubt, Furber’s master piece. Golfers should bring a camera with them for the first hole! The course is varied and tricky – golfers of all handicaps will have the best conditions. Even the practice area with its driving range and training greens is excellent. The terrific golf restaurant boasts a beautiful terrace from which visitors can view the grandiose landscape while enjoying gourmet food. The golf club also offers its guests a shuttle from the dock on the lake to the restaurant. The course is located between Vancouver and Calgary and can be reached via Highway 1. From Kelowna Airport, it is only forty-five minutes away. The entire region is known for its gorgeous relaxation towns, mostly located on the banks of the many lakes. Hyde Mountain is more than just a golf course!
