Ieper Open Golf

The club is situated in the region of Westhoek in Flanders in the northwestern tip of the country. The club boasts a beautiful 9-hole course with par 32 located directly on the northern edge of the city. Ieper Open Golf was founded in 1990 and – in accordance with its club philosophy is open to all players, whether member or guest. The only requirement is a handicap of at least 54. The course at the Ieper Open Golf is flat and of moderate difficulty. Numerous trees surrounded the fairways which are always perfectly maintained. The holes offer players variety and fun. Strategically well-placed hazards, such as water or bunkers, require concentration and technical know-how. A driving range with 20 tees, as well as a putting and pitching green are available to train. The Pro Shop on club grounds offers, among other things, rental golf clubs, buggies, and trolleys. The atmosphere at the club is open and family-friendly. In the cozy clubhouse, visitors can enjoy sitting in good company while having a snack. Golf players should also plan enough time to visit the historic city center of Ieper (Ypern). There, visitors can see the amazing Gothic cloth house Lakenhal with its 70-meter high belfry that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
