Indian Hills Country Club

The Indian Hills Country Club is located in the city of Atlanta, which is in Cass County in the US-state of Texas. It is located near the border to Arkansas and Louisiana. Located right next to Atlanta Municipal Airport, the club runs through a densely forested area. From the city center of Atlanta, it only takes four minutes via the E Main Street to get to the Indian Hills Country Club, which can be reached in about two and a half hours from the nearest city of Dallas. The club was opened in 1946 as a 9-hole-course in parkland style with par 36. It shows a 2,549-meter-long course with short fairways, lined by closely planted trees, challenging greens, some small bunkers, and water hazards in the form of ponds and lakes. Hole 5, where a solitary tree in the middle of the course forces the golfer to precisely carry out the tee, is said to be the most difficult hole. On the fairways, golfers find two different tee boxes for different difficulty levels, due to which the course at the Indian Hills Country Club can also be played as an 18-hole-course. Due to its moderate difficulty, the course can be mastered by golf beginners as well as experienced golfers. It its practice area, the Indian Hills Country Club has a driving range and a putting green, on which golfers can improve their long hits and the short game.
