The charming community of Lepe can be found near the Spanish Atlantic coast, only a few kilometers from the border with Portugal. The resort boasts a 27-hole course and has developed to become of the most well-known golf destinations in Andalusia. The Islantilla Golf Resort has often hosted high-level golf tournaments and was counted among the top 100 best golf courses in Europe according to the magazine Golf Digest in 2000. The demanding course is hilly and offers special challenges with water hazards. It is well-maintained, challenging, and never boring. The three 9-hole bows in the parkland landscape offer various combination possibilities. An accurate game with mid and lower skills can be achieved at “Azul,” while “Amarillo” demands higher skills, and “Verde” is used as an official 18-hole course in tournaments. Guests are always welcome at Islantilla Golf Resort, but should present a club ID with handicap (men 28 / women 36). The range of practice opportunities includes a driving range with 100 range tees, putting greens, pitching greens, as well as chipping greens and practice bunkers.
