Kedaton Golf & Country Club

The Kedaton Golf & Country Club was opened in 1995 and lies west of Jakarta. The golf club is only a half an hour by car away from the international airport of Soekarno Hatta. The layout for the 18-hole-course with par 72 originates from the US-American golf course architect Rick Robbins. He carefully integrated the course into the natural environment and created a varied, rather flat course, which provides for pure golfing joy. The course thrills with tropical rainforest, coconut trees, beautiful trees and small ponds, whose water shimmers in the sun. The fairways and greens at the Kedaton Golf & Country Club are covered with Bermuda grass. Numerous national and international championships are held on the groomed course throughout the year. The course is not easy – water comes into play at almost every hole. Either in the form of artificial ponds or a stream, which winds across the terrain. Bunkers also interfere with the course. Who would like to train before the round, can do so in the practice area with putting, chipping, and pitching green. At the pro shop, equipment can be completed or hired. Experienced caddies are mandatory during the round of golf at the Kedaton Golf & Country Club. The clubhouse, which is built in a traditional Sudanese style, is also very beautiful. The local restaurant has a varied kitchen with Asian and European dishes.
