Kilkea Castle Hotel & Golf Resort

The golf course belongs to the Kilkea Castle Hotel that was built in 1180 and is one of the oldest, continuously inhabited castles in Ireland. The historic estate is treat for the eyes. The 18-hole parkland course is around 6,200 meters long and was designed by Jack McDaid and Jim Cassidy. The Kilkea Castle Hotel & Golf Resort is situated on wonderful, park terrain of around 81 hectares, offering a view of the Killeshin hills and the wonderful landscape of Kildare. Slowly and majestically, the Griese flows through the grounds. It cuts through the golf course several times along with two lakes and several bunkers. A modern club house also belongs to the golf course and includes a restaurant, bar, Pro Shop, pool tables, and a conference room.
