Pitch&Putt Koekange

The golf club Pitch&Putt Koekange can be found in the village of Koekange, near Ruinerwold in the municipality of De Wolden, which belongs to the province of Drenthe in the northeastern Netherlands. It stretches across the terrain of the De Lange Tieme estate and is embedded into the Drenthe landscape with pastures, heaths, moors, and canals. Golfclub Pitch&Putt Koekange is well connected to Ruinerwold via the N375, since the pitch & putt course is right by the street and reachable in seven minutes. The club was founded in 1998 and opened an 18-hole pitch & putt course with par 54 in the same year. Pitch&Putt Koekange is the oldest pitch & putt golf course in the Netherlands and features 30 to 70 meter fairways that wind around sand bunkers, ponds, individual trees, shrubs, and bushes. The compact course owns little greens and demonstrates considerable altitude changes. Aside from pitch & putt, the golf club Pitch&Putt Koekange also offers games of footgolf, a combination of golf and soccer, as well as moonlight golf. This involves hitting golf balls in the dark that are equipped with small LED lights. The fairways, tees, and bunkers are also lit with lamps and candles. The practice area does not have a driving range, but it does offer a large putting green.
