Krakow Valley Golf & Country Club

The Krakow Valley Golf & Country Club is located in Paczóltowice, part of Krzeszowice in the region of Lesser Poland. It is situated on 160 hectares, stretching across a hill of the Krakow-Częstochowa-Jura-Plateau, surrounded by think forest. Located in the landscape park, Zespól Parków Krajobrazowych Województwa Malopolskiego, the Krakow Valley Golf & Country Club is only 45 to 50 minutes from the Polish cities of Krakow and Katowice. It was founded in 2003 and opened an 18-hole course with par 72 the same year, designed by the American golf course architect Ronald Fream. The 6,518-meter, very hilly championship course boasts wide, wavy fairways and significant differences in elevation. The fairways and greens are well-protected by numerous bunkers. There are various tees along the holes which can be frustrating, especially at hole 10. For beginning experienced golfers alike, the course at the Krakow Valley Golf & Country Club has high technical and athletic standards. Less challenging, however, is a 6-hole course (par 3) with flat terrain and several water hazards that is also located on the club’s grounds with a length of 810 meters.
