Lakewood Country Club

Lakewood Country Club is situated in a spacious park in an exclusive residential area on the outskirts of Bangkok. The facilities are located close to Suvarnabhumi Airport and downtown Bangkok, making it very well-loved with locals and tourists alike. The flat terrain hosts a 36-hole, par-72 course. The first three nines already opened in 1992, with a design by J Michael Poellet. In spite of its urban location, Lakewood Country Club is host to around 50 different plant species and more than 2,000 trees. All nines feature individual designs; the first three nines (Lake, Rock, Wood) are characterized by undulating greens, doglegs, and a few water hazards. The newer nine holes are a bit more challenging. The well-manicured course at the Lakewood Country Club is in great shape year-round, also during the rainy season. The fairways are covered with bermuda grass, and both wide and inviting, dotted neatly with large drees. The greens are covered with TifDwarf Bermudagrass. The signature holes, hole 3 of the Lake course and hole 8 of the Wood course, rank among the best par-3 holes in the entire Bangkok area. The Lakewood Country Club offers its guests excellent golf facilities, and the service leaves nothing to be desired either. The caddies are very experienced. The facilities can be reached via the Bang Na-Trad Highway.
