Le Pavoniere Golf& Country Club

The golf club is located only about 3 kilometres from Prato and only about 25 kilometres from Florence. The 18 hole course in parkland style comes from the famous golf course designer Arnold Palmer and was opened in 1987. The 6,465-meter-long and flat course is challenging, even for professional golfers. On the one hand, this is due to the numerous water hazards that affect almost every course and on the other hand it is due to the strategically placed bunkers and doglegs. It is a links course with diverse holes and little roughs. The course is kept very neatly and a venue for many renowned tournaments such as the European Challenge Tour. Guests are very welcome at the Golf and Country Club le Pavoniere. A club card with HCP (36) is necessary. The practice areal consists of a large driving range with 30 range teeing grounds, as well as putting, pitching and chipping greens. If interested, one can improve his handicap at the golf school or take introductory courses. There is also a well-sorted pro shop on site, where one can hire equipment. After the round, people like to meet at the nice club restaurant. The kitchen treats guests with excellent dishes. From the terrace, one has a view of the course and can review the golfing day – perfect!
