Lingfield Park Golf

Lingfield Park Golf lies harmoniously embedded into the magical landscape of Surrey in Southern England. It is a demanding 18-hole course with par 72. The 5,953 long courses was opened in 1987, but recently modernized. The gorgeous parkland course was designed by the well-known golf course architect Nick Faldo. The narrow fairways are bordered by trees and there are several water hazards consisting of ponds and creeks as well as about 60 bunkers. Technical skill, precision and strategic thinking are a must on this course. For warming up and practicing, there is a spacious driving range with practice greens. Professional golf coaches offer individual and group lessons. Those interested can rent equipment in the Pro Shop. Lingfield Park Golf counts among the most outstanding golf courses in Surrey and has repeatedly hosted large international golf tournaments (e.g. the Surrey PGA Open). In the immediate vicinity there is a well-known horse racetrack and a luxurious hotel complex. The course is situated in a gorgeous landscape with softly undulating hills. Lingfield Park Golf is easily reached via the M25 or M23. Gatwick Airport is just a few kilometers away. If there is enough time, a visit to the nearby British Wildlife Centre, the beautiful Hever Castle with its gardens or the impressive Hampton Court Palace should not be missed.
