Meadow Links Golf Course

The Meadow Links Golf Course is located in the town of Richfield Springs that is in the Otsego County in the US state of New York. It winds through the hills above Otsego Lake and allows for a beautiful view on the lake. It takes eight minutes to get to the Meadow Links Golf Course from the town center of Richfield Springs, while it takes almost four hours from New York via the interstate 87 N. In 1991, the course was opened in as an 18-hole executive course in meadow/links course style with par 58. Its design goes back to Steve Schanz, who gave the 2,978-long course a short layout. The Meadow Links Golf Course shows wavy fairways that are surrounded by trees, farm land and hills, contoured greens, some bunkers and water hazards at holes 6 and 7. Furthermore, hole 7 shares a large green with hole 15. But the course path is also interesting: holes 1 to 6 and 16 to 18 are part of the front nine, while the back nine consist of holes 7 to 15. The golf course is suitable for golf beginners, as well as experienced golf players that can practice well for bigger challenges here. This can also be done on the club-own driving range with 35 tees on grass, two putting greens, as well as a pitching and chipping area.
