Modena Golf & Country Club

None other than the German world class golfer Bernhard Langer designed the course of the Modena Golf & Country Club in 1990. The flat 18 hole championship course with par 72 is about 6,423 metres long and is one of the best in Italy. The five large lakes and extensive courses and tees are characteristic for it. High-class championships such as the Italian Open regularly take place on the around 100 hectare large grounds. After the game, players and guests can treat themselves to regional culinary delicacies in the nice club restaurant. In addition, two swimming pools, tennis courts as well as wellness and leisure facilities are part of the famous club. The training area is also excellent. Besides the 9 hole training course there is a large driving range, pitching, putting and chipping green with a bunker. The people who would rather improve their handicap can do this in the golf academy of the club. Equipment is available for hire at the well-organized pro shop. The Modena Golf & Country Club is located only about 10 kilometres from Modena and can be reached quickly by car or airplane. It is open year-round. The golf club of Modena is a top course. What is worth seeing is the historic town of Modena, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello or, of course, the many gourmet restaurants of the region.
