Molino del Pero Golf Club

The Molino del Pero Golf Club is located only about 25 kilometres from Bologna in a wonderful hilly landscape at the bottom of the Apennines. The 18 hole course with par 70 is challenging and diverse. The course is about 5,480 metres long (for men) and very hilly with numerous inclines. The championship course was opened in 1991. It is very interesting for technically very good players as well as occasional golf players. While the first half of the course is technically challenging with short tracks, longer and spectacularly scenic tracks await the player starting at hole ten. The training area of the Molino del Pero Golf Club offers a driving range with 10 range tees, as well as training greens. The club has a golf school. On top of that, there is a pro shop on site. People who are interested in hiring equipment can do this upon request. After the round, people like to meet up at the nice, very cozy clubhouse that used to be a barn. The club restaurant in the former mill room of the original farmstead offers very good regional cuisine. The Molino del Pero Golf Club is open year-round. From Bologna the golf club is literally only 25 minutes by car. If there is time, one should not miss the old town of Bologna.
