Moorreesburg Golf Club

The Moorreesburg Golf Club is located on the southern edge of the South African city of Moorreesburg in the Western Cape province. It lies embedded in an idyllic residential area in the heart of Swartland, which is surrounded by wheat fields. From Moorreesburg’s center, Moorreesburg Golf Club is quick to reach in seven minutes via Main Street. The club also provides a good connection to the N 7, so that the journey from the South African metropolis of Cape Town takes just an hour. The club was already established in 1913 and houses a 9-hole parkland course with par 35 and a length of 5,666 meters. The course runs across very even terrain and displays broad fairways lined by trees. Through two different options for teeing off, the course at Moorreesburg Golf Club can also be played as an 18-hole course with par 70. It also hosts the annual Spar Tiger Classic golf tournament and is easy to master for golfers of all levels. In its practice area, the club provides not only a driving range, but also a putting green for training purposes. Additionally, electric carts, trolleys, and caddy services can be rented on site.
