Niitvälja Golf

The golf club of Niitvälja lies just 30 kilometers from the Estonian capital of Tallinn. It was built in 1994 and is not only the country’s first golf club, but also belongs to the most beautiful in the Baltics. The course was designed by Swedish golf course designer Åke Persson. In 2006/07, the 18-hole par 72 course was expanded and modernized by Peter Chamberlain. He turned the links course into a pure parkland course on an area of 164 hectares. The fairways stretch across a wonderful and excellently kept area with a delightful stock of trees and numerous water hazards. The signature hole is the 15th: an enchanting but also tricky island green with par 5. The course is varied and suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The practice area is also excellent: Niitvälja Golf features a short course, a large driving range, as well as three putting, two chipping and pitching greens. Guests are very welcome. A specific handicap is not required, but a golf club ID with a license to play is. Niitvälja Golf is open from April to October. There is a golf school and a Pro Shop that rents equipment on site. From the club restaurant, you can enjoy a tasty snack with a view of the beautiful golf course.
