Njoro Country Club

The Njoro Country Club lies in the Kenyan village of Njoro in Nakuru County. It is situated next to the Njoro River on the western edge of the Rift Valley in Kenya’s highlands, with a view of Egerton University. From Njoro’s center, the Njoro Country Club is just a few minutes away, while the trip from the next largest town of Nakuru takes half an hour. Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, is three hours away from Njoro Country Club via the A 104. It was founded in 1927 and calls a 9-hole woodland course with par 73 its own. The course has a length of 6,570 meters and lies at nearly 2,500 meters above sea level. Lined by indigenous trees, the golf course at Njoro Country Club boasts wide fairways scattered with numerous bunkers. In the club’s practice area, golfers can take advantage of a driving range as well as a putting green. It regularly hosts local high-level tournaments.
