Oakview Golf & Country Club

The Oakview Golf & Country Club can be found in the city of Macon, which belongs to Bibb County in the US state of Georgia. It is surrounded by a residential area and is about 15 minutes away from Macon’s city center. Oakview Golf & Country Club can be reached in 101 minutes from Atlanta via the Interstate 75 S. The club opened an 18-hole parkland course with par 72 in 1996, for which Berry Edgar supplied the design. The 6,146 meter long course presents fairways closely lined by trees, large greens, bunkers, few doglegs and numerous water hazards. Lakes, ponds and streams can be found at 9 of the 18 holes and must be played across at holes 11, 12, 13, 16 and 18. The athletically demanding course at Oakview Golf & Country Club can be mastered by both novices and experienced golfers. Four different tee boxes contribute to this, allowing golfers to tee off with different levels of difficulty. They can train for this in the practice area on a driving range with 40 tees, a putting and a chipping green. Appropriate golf clothing and equipment can be purchased at the club’s own Pro Shop. Additionally, Oakview Golf & Country Club rents golf clubs, and the use of electric carts is included in the green fee.
