Østmarka Golfklubb

The Østmarka Golfklubb lies surrounded by many small lakes and low, wooded hills in the eastern Norwegian town of Ystre Enebakk. It is situated on the terrain of the former Vesby farm, which belongs to the woodlands of the east march, east of the capital, Oslo. In spite of its location in the Norwegian woods, the Østmarka Golfklubb is well connected to traffic. From Oslo it can be reached in 30 minutes on Ry 155. The Club was opened in 1989, and can call a 5,569-meter long 18-hole course of the parkland/woodland type, with par 72, its own. Its terrain is slightly hilly and equipped with water hazards and bunkers. The course in the Østmarka Golfklubb has fast greens, and the fairways of the front nine are wide. In the rear area of the course, at the back nine, there are some inclines as well as holes with narrow designs, and holes that run through the woods. Here the sporting skills and tactical finesse of both beginners and pros are challenged. For golf training, a long driving range with 30 tees is available, of which eight are roofed, as well as a Putt&Pitch area. Clubs, trolleys, and electric carts are available for rent. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to play the trend sport Footgolf, which is a mixture of soccer and golf.
