Outrup Golfklub

The Outrup Golfklub is in Outrup, a Danish city in Varde Municipality in western Jutland. It lies near the North Sea and is the cheapest golf club in Denmark. Located three minutes from the center of Outrup, the Outrup Golfklub is easily reached from Henne Strand, located 10 kilometers away, on Route 465 past the Filsø and Fidde Sø lakes. The golf club can also be reached easily from Varde, located 15 kilometers away, over Route 181, and from Blåvand, located 25 kilometers away, over Blåvandvej. The club was founded in 2005, and in 2006 opened a 9-hole course of the parkland type, with par 31. The park was designed as a Pay&Play course with a length of 2,031 meters, with the individual fairways ranging from 150 to 250 meters in length. The largely flat terrain of the course is equipped with bunkers, a couple of doglegs, and fairways flanked by trees, and it demands skill without being too challenging. In addition, the Outrup Golfklub possesses a 6-hole Pitch&Putt course with par 27. Here the fairways are only between 47 and 86 meters long and are thereby especially suited to beginners. On a 200-meter long driving range with 20 tee-off mats, of which nine are roofed, as well as on a 10-hole putting green, golfers can train their golf skills.
