Oxie Golfklubb

The Oxie Golfklubb, which is run by the Malmö Hylliekrokens Golfcenter Pay&Play, lies in Oxie, a southeastern suburb of Malmö, in the region of Skåne. Over the Amiralsgatan, it can be reached in fifteen minutes from the city center of Sweden’s third-largest city. From Copenhagen in Denmark, on the other side of the Øresund strait, the Oxie Golfklubb can be reached in 45 minutes on the E20 and the Øresund Bridge. The club was founded in 2009 and has one golf course available, designed by Peter Hallberg in the style of Scottish and Irish models. The 12-hole Tonganoxie course of the parkland type, with par 46, is a Pay&Play Executive course, ideal for relaxed golfing without pressure. The course is 3,361 meters long and stretches across a flat, open terrain with shorter-than-normal holes. The Oxie Golfklubb provides golfers with the only golf course with artificial turf on the greens and tees. Additionally, it is open in the middle, since it was laid out around a hill. The club does not have a driving range, but a large putting green beckons for practice. Trolleys and golf clubs can be rented on site.
