Paraiso Golf Ranch Resort & Spa

The Paraiso Golf Ranch Resort & Spa is near the city of Minga Guazú, which is in the Departamento Alto Paraná in Paraguay. It extends along the bank of a lake and is only 40 kilometers away from the world-famous Iguazu waterfalls. From the center of Minga Guazú, one can reach the Paraiso Golf Ranch Resort & Spa in only 12 minutes, whereas it can be comfortably reached from the next largest city of Ciudad del Este via Route 7 in half an hour. There is also a quick connection to three international airports, which are situated not far from the club. The resort has an 18-hole-course, which is characterized by elevated, large greens, numerous bunkers that protect the greens, some doglegs and water hazards at 13 of the 18 holes. Thereby, the lakes, ponds and streams at 12 holes must be overplayed by the golfers, which is a big challenge at some holes. At hole 3 the tee-offs are on a bridge in the middle of the water hazard and at hole 5, as well as 12, two to three ponds and streams must be overcome. The golf course at the Paraiso Golf Ranch Resort & Spa is the only course worldwide, which has four par 3’s. On top of that, there is not another 18-hole-course which can offer such a three-dimensional panoramic view.
