The Pebblebrook Golf Club, also known as Schneiter’s Pebblebrook Golf Course, is located in Sandy, a suburb of Salt Lake City in Salt Lake County, which is a part of the US state of Utah. It runs across a hilly terrain in a residential area just outside of the city and provides a lovely view of the Wasatch Mountains. From Sandy’s center you can reach the Pebblebrook Golf Club in 5 minutes, and from Utah’s capital Salt Lake City you can take the Interstate 15 S and reach the club in 15 minutes. George Schneiter designed this 18-hole parkland type course with par 68, which was opened in 1978. He created a 4,198-meter-long course with short and narrow tree-lined fairways, large and elevated greens. Water hazards and bunkers, on the other hand, are scarce. The signature hole of the Pebblebrook Golf Club course is hole 2, which consists of a narrow dogleg between densely packed trees – here, the golfer must play over a trench, the only water hazard of the course. Golfing beginners as well as experienced golfers can deal with the challenges of this athletically difficult course. To do this, golfers train on the driving range with 40 tees on grass that is lit up in darkness. There is also a putting and a chipping green.
