Pinecrest Golf Club

The Pinecrest Golf Club is located in the city of Largo, Pinellas County, Florida. It is situated in the middle of the city is only a few minutes from Florida’s sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. From downtown Largo, the Pinecrest Golf Club is only three minutes away; from nearby Tampa via I 275 S, only 40 minutes. The club opened its own 18-hole Executive Course with par 55 in 1968 which is more of a traditional golf course as just a simple pitch and putt course. The course is 2,043 meters long and has wide, mostly straight fairways and medium-sized greens. Dog legs and sand bunkers are rare at the Pinecrest Golf Club. Water hazards in the form of lakes, ponds, and narrow streams can be found at seven of the 18 holes. At the holes 2, 4, 9, 14, 15, and 18, golfers must play over the water. On the athletic course at the Pinecrest Golf Club, there is only a par 4 at hole 8, at which the ball must be hit out of a small forest. The remaining holes at the course are par 3, making it particularly well-suited for less experienced golfers.
