Pravets Golf Club

The luxuriously designed Pravets Golf Club lies in the western part of Bulgaria between Botevgrad and Yablanitsa, close the highway A2. From the capital of Sofia, the drive to this charming golf course takes exactly an hour. The still relatively young 18-hole golf course was designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 2010. Just like on the famous golf course of St. Andrews, the greens of holes 9 and 18 were combined into a double green. The parkland-style golf course (par 72) offers breathtaking views panoramas of the surrounding mountains and lakes from its relatively flat grounds. The numerous water surfaces integrated into the layout of the Pravets Golf Club aesthetically set the scene with pretty water fountains. Guests and also preregistered groups can visit the golf course anytime, and even stay for a few days for a golf vacation in the monumental buildings of the RIU Pravets resort. Thanks to a modern floodlight system, the driving range can also be used for practicing after dark. The professional golf trainers of the golf academy offer lessons for beginners and advanced golfers. The modern and architecturally elegant clubhouse is not only home to an extremely well equipped Pro Shop, but also functions as a social meeting point and place of relaxation after a good round of golf due to its first-class gastronomy and comfortable terraces with a view.
