Prvý Golf Club Trencín

The Prvý Golf Club Trencín lies near the river Waag and the historical castle in the city area of Trencín. From the Slovakian capital of Bratislava, the drive to the course via the E58 and the E75 takes about 75 minutes. The young golf course was opened in July of 2016 and offers numerous modern amenities for club members as well as local and foreign visitors. The Prvý Golf Club Trencín turned a neglected area into a new paradise for the sport of golf. The 9-hole golf course can be played in 1.5 hours thanks to the relatively short fairways. This makes the Prvý Golf Club Trencín basically perfect for a rejuvenating round of golf after work or a pit stop along the travel route. Designed by Peter Scott, the golf course was placed close to nature and integrated into the banks of the river, so that it resembles the original golf courses in Scotland with its open vegetation. Before the second hole, a dogleg to the right demands a tactical game. On the fifth and eighth holes, however, long shots with the right club are needed. For practicing, not only the training possibilities offered by the golf academy connected to the Prvý Golf Club Trencín are available, but also a driving range with covered tees. After a varied day on this family friendly golf course, the cozy sports bar in the clubhouse provides refreshments and tasty treats.
