Pyramids Golf & Country Club

The Pyramids Golf & Country Club is located near the Egyptian town of Al Solaimaneyah City by the desert road to Alexandria. Embedded between palm trees, lagoons, and streams, it lies on a rise in the Al Solaimaneyah Golf Resort & Spa and grants a wonderful view of the pyramids of Giza, which are just 20 minutes away. The Pyramids Golf & Country Club is well connected to the West Cairo International Airport (20 minutes), Solaimaneyah City (about an hour), and Cairo (90 minutes) via Alexandria Desert Road and Route 75 M. In 1998, it opened a 27-hole golf park which consists of three 9-hole meadow/parkland courses with par 72 and a length of 6,404 meters. An 18-hole championship course can be formed by combining two of the courses. American golf course architect Ronald Fream designed the courses. All three golf courses at the Pyramids Golf & Country Club boast long, narrow fairways, several doglegs, numerous sand bunkers, and many artificial lagoons as water hazards, clearly defining the game on the different courses. While on course A, several island greens and many bunkers that vehemently protect the greens are most conspicuous, course B presents a fairway divided in three and a double hit across a stream. Course C also has its finesse with a forceful tee shot across a lagoon at hole 8.
