Real del Mar Golf Resort

This golf course is situated in the extreme northwest of Mexico, in Tijuana, just a few minutes’ drive away the US-American border. Tijuana lies in the state of Baja California. Real del Mar Golf Resort was opened in 1993 and has a beautiful location directly by the Pacific coast. The golf course is very well kept and hosts numerous tournaments. It is part of an exclusive hotel and residential complex. Golfers here play on an 18-hole championship course with par-72. The course is very varied and is athletically challenging for golfing professionals as well as for hobby golfers. The lanes of the Real del Mar Golf Resort are built on a hilly and wavy terrain. The well-kept greens, palms, flowering shrubs and artificial water holes create a wonderful golfing ambiance. The holes are protected by cleverly placed bunkers. There is a beautiful view of the turquoise ocean, sparkling in the sun, from several spots on the course. There is also an on-site training area with a driving range and training greens.  Pools, tennis courts, wellness facilities and restaurants within the hotel complex provide every imaginable type of comfort and luxury. The Real del Mar Golf Resort is open all year round. Tijuana’s old town is also worth a visit. If one has a bit more time, one should also take a trip to the nearby city of San Diego in the USA.
