Remington Golf Club

The Remington Golf Club is situated in the city of Kissimmee in Osceola County, which is located in the US state of Florida. It stretches across an area near East Lake Tohopekaliga and can be reached in 13 minutes via the FL-530 E from the city center. From Orlando, the trip to Remington Golf Club takes about half an hour via Florida’s Turnpike. It opened an 18-hole course with par 72 in 1966, for which the renowned Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Design Group supplied the design. The course measures 6,502 meters and features wavy fairways bordered by palm, pine and oak trees, lush greens, many bunkers and particularly numerous water hazards in the form of lakes. The fairways of this golf course run around these lakes at Remington Golf Club. Water hazards will be encountered at 17 of the 18 holes. However, only one hole forces golfers to actually play across water. This course’s challenge lies in avoiding having to play across the water hazards, demanding a lot of athletic and tactical finesse from both beginners and experienced golfers. At the practice area at the Remington Golf Club, golfers can expect an unusual driving range on water, a putting green, as well as a pitch & chip area. The course was voted the best new course by Golf Digest Magazine in 1996.
