Riolo Golf Club La Torre

The golf course is located in the nature reserve Vena del Gesso, not far from the largest chalk cliff of the country in the wavy hills of the Apennine. The 18 hole championship course with par 72 is about 6,161 metres long. It was designed by Marco Croze and opened in 1992. The courses expands over an about 200-hectare-large area that is mostly in its natural state. The course is hilly. Especially the hillside courses make the 18 hole course technically challenging and also challenge advanced golfers. On top of this, there are greens that are well-protected through strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. Long-hitters get their money’s worth on the course of Riolo Golf Club La Torre. But all players can enjoy wonderful views of the mountain landscape and Po Valley on the course. The Club Riolo Golf La Torre has a large practice areal. It consists of a driving range with practice greens. People, who are interested, can improve their HCP at the golf school and hire the entire equipment. There is also a pro shop on site. The club restaurant “Oscar Golf” is a meeting point for golfers and guests. The menu includes regional delicacies. The club is only about two kilometres from Riolo Terme and only 15 kilometres from Imola. Due to the mild climate, the season is year-round and it is accessible quickly via the A14.
