Rottaler Golf- und Country-Club e.V.

Between Pfarrkirchen and Eggenfeld, Rottaler Golf- und Country-Club e.V. is gorgeously located right beside the Rottauen reservoir. Founded in 1972, this club boasts a flat 18 hole course. The grounds, extending over 50 hectares in the parkland style, are harmoniously embedded into the gently rolling hills of southern Upper Bavaria. Several water hazards consisting of ponds, creeks and the Rott, which crosses the course several times, shape the course. There are wide landing areas and wide fairways. Extending over 5,948 meters, four par 3, four par 5 and ten par 3 holes offer plenty of variety. The club is athletically ambitious and offers players the opportunity to improve their handicaps during about 40 tournaments every season. In addition to well-kept fairways and greens, there are excellent practice facilities on the driving range (with 30 tees) and in the putting, pitching and chipping area. Furthermore, there is a 6 hole practice course. Equipment can be rented or borrowed in the Pro Shop. After the game, players can retreat into the cozy Stüberl to enjoy Bavarian cuisine or relax in the lovely beer garden. At Rottaler Golf- und Country-Club e.V., the season goes from March until November. Guests are welcome. It is required to have a club ID with license to play.
