Sirio Libanés Golf Club

The Argentinian city of Pergamino, which belongs to the province of Buenos Aires, is home to the Sirio Libanés Golf Club. It is located on the Campo Ciudad Deportivo and is situated across from Parque Sarmiento, a huge park with sport and leisure facilities. From the city center of Pergamino, Sirio Libanés Golf Club is easy to reach in just 10 minutes via the RN 188, while the drive from the capital of Buenos Aires takes nearly three hours via the RN 8. The club was founded as “La Juventud Homsiese” in 1925 by young Syrians from the Syrian town of Homs and renamed to Homs Club in 1938. Since 1978, it has carried the name of Club Sirio Libanés de Buenos Aires, although the golf department is called Sirio Libanés Golf Club. It accommodates a 9-hole course with a length of just 2,918 meters, designed by Alejandro Virasoro. The club frequently hosts small, local tournaments, particularly for youth golfers in the region.
