Son Gual Golf

Just 10 kilometers from the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca, golf park Son Gual Golf is situated in the midst of interesting natural hills east of the airport. The park is easy to reach from Palma or Manacor via the state route Ma-15 that is located right next to the course. Since 2007, the park designed by Thomas Himmel has been offering club members and guests well-kept holes with spectacular views and a distinctively inspiring atmosphere. Across an area of 156 hectares, Son Gual Golf boasts exciting golfing experiences and various training options year-round. Not only hole 6 of the 18-hole golf course requires tactical and precise play to prevent balls from falling into one of the water hazards. Hole 13 with a total distance of 429 meters also requires skillful play, especially due to its crosswinds. The backdrop consists of a typically Mediterranean vegetation and mostly azure skies, which makes the days spent at Son Gual Golf exciting and relaxing at the same time. Apart from a driving range with 25 tees, there are also different practice areas for putting, pitching, and chipping. Numerous tournaments, a golf academy, and a Pro Shop contribute to Son Gual Golf’s bustling atmosphere that is a pleasure to be part of, not least because of the luxurious amenities offered at the clubhouse.
