The Sunbrook Golf Club can be discovered in the city of St. George, which is situated in Washington County in the US state of Utah. It is located directly in the city and lies upon desert ground and old lava fields, and it allows visitors to have a wonderful view of the red cliffs and mountains of the Snow Canyon State Park. From St. George’s city center, it will take about 15 minutes to get to the Sunbrook Golf Club. Due to its close proximity to Nevada’s border, it can be reached from Las Vegas in only 110 minutes via the Interstate 15 N. In 1990 it opened a 27-hole course, which is comprised of the three 9-hole courses, The Woodbridge Nine, The Black Rock Nine and The Pointe Nine with par 36. It was designed by Ted Robinson and John Harbottle. The Woodbridge Nine is 3,149 meters long and winds itself between tall poplar trees. Notable are hole 4 with an island green and hole 5 with a lake and wooden bridge. The water hazards at hole 5 must be overplayed. The Black Rock Nine is 3,089 meters long and spreads out across lava fields and volcanic rock. At 3 holes, water hazards require the golfer to make a tee over lakes and river courses. The third course in Sunbrook Golf Club, The Pointe Nine, is 3,085 meters in length and winds itself throughout deserts, canyons and plateaus. It has a spectacular hole, hole 5, that is located right at the edge of a desert cliff.
