Tabarka Golf Club

Tabarka Golf Club is located in the small town of Tabarka on the northwestern Mediterranean coast of Tunisia, close to the border to Algeria. It lies on an area of 110 hectares, embedded in eucalyptus, pine, and cork oak groves, with ponds and sand dunes, between the ocean and the mountains in the hinterland. From Tabarka’s center, Tabarka Golf Club can be reached via Route Touristique Tabarka in about 15 minutes. The club contains an 18-hole seaside course with par 72, the design of which was created by renowned golf course architect Ronald Fream from GolfPlan and was recently revised. The course, measuring 6,306 meters, displays front nine that run along the coastal line of the Coral Coast in the dunes, as well as back nine that lead away from the coast and into the pine woods. The layout at Tabarka Golf Club is characterized by narrow fairways, greens that are well protected by bunkers, trees that line the fairways and greens, as well as numerous water hazards such as lakes and ponds. Hole 7 is especially remarkable, located right by the sea and offering a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea and a historic fortress. The championship course also possesses a 9-hole academy course with par 30 and a length of 1,400 meters, a driving range, and a putting green. It has already hosted the European Open and the Tunisian Open Challenge.
