Taree RSL & Golf Club

The golf facility of the Taree Golf Club offers a marvellous 21 hole course, located to the north of Sydney, at around three and a half hours by car. The club was founded in 2001 as a result of the merger of the Taree RSL Club and the Taree Golf Club. The 21 hole layout offers the chance to play on two courses. The 18 hole course, called the Full Course, stretches out along both sides of the Wingham Road. The three other holes are located by the clubhouse and can be played as the Clubhouse Course together with holes 13 through 18. Players play two rounds during tournaments. The course is quite hilly. It is meticulously tended throughout the year and convinces by its fabulous views. The courses also offer experienced golfers interesting game variants. Bunkers, water hazards, and several doglegs make the course both tricky and entertaining. The service area is excellent; it holds a practice site, pro shop, and a restaurant, cafe, and bar. The club restaurant Dineon19 is renowned for its exquisite cuisine, with freshly prepared meals from seasonal quality produce. The Taree Golf Club is located by the Manning River, less than 20 kilometers from the Tasman Sea. The handsome club can be reached by the Pacific Highway. The town of Taree can also be reached by train via the North Coast Railway Line.
