Terme di Saturnia Golf Club

The golf course that was opened in 2008, is located in midst of fancy hotel resorts near the historic town of Saturnia. It is one of the most beautiful courses of Maremma or Tuscany. Due to the mild climate, the course is open year-round. The Terme di Saturnia Golf Club was planned by the renowned golf course architect Ronald Fream. It is an about 6,300-metres-long, 18 hole championship course with par 72, that is located right near the hotel and is spread out over 70 hectares. The course is slightly hilly and some fairways have a wavy underground. Strategically placed bunkers and large water hazards (on the courses 1 to 3, as well as 9 and 18) structure the course. The bunkers consist of gravel sand, the greens often consist of terraced hills – an impressive, modern and very neat course. The Terme di Saturnia Golf Resort offers professional golfers as well as leisure players, excellent training conditions with a driving range, practice green and a golf school. The equipment can be hired on site or bought at the pro shop. The club is very active is sports. It has numerous teams and thanks to the proximity to the stylish 5-star-hotel complex it also has a beautiful pool and an excellent thermal, wellness and fitness area as well as luxury suites and rooms.
