The Empire Golf & Country Club

The Empire Golf & Country Club ranks among the most splendid golf facilities in Brunei, with breathtaking views of the South China Sea and a magnificent course. The 18-hole championship course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. The courses run directly along the coast. While the first nine holes are situated on hilly terrain, the backnine meander alongside the water. Players should be careful not to tee off too bashfully, as the strategically located bunkers and brisk sea breeze call for both experience and good strategy. The 15th hole of the course is the signature hole; a par 5 measuring 549 yards. The Empire Golf & Country Club is a marvelous facility that leaves nothing to be desired. The club hosts large tournaments such as the Brunei Open, additionally offering a large driving range, golf academy, and excellently furnished pro shop.
