The Vintage Club

The Vintage Club is a little-known golf club in the Bangkok region; however, this certainly shouldn’t be considered a bad thing. Golfers can look forward to a quiet round of golf on the very well-manicured 18-hole, par-72 course – especially on weekdays. The layout was designed by Arthur Hills, and The Vintage Club opened in 1996. The club is situated to the east of Bangkok by the Bangna Trad Highway, less than an hour from downtown. The course is integrated into the landscape in a remarkably harmonious fashion. Various reed beds and gorgeous bougainvilleas that blossom in all colors of the rainbow embellish the area, which radiates an idyllic, rural ambience in spite of its proximity to the city. The course at The Vintage Club is well-suited for golfers of all handicap classes, who are guaranteed to play a diverse, athletic round. The club has hosted PGA tournaments various times, and the greens and fairways are always well manicured here. The gently sloping terrain features numerous water hazards and sand bunkers that accompany the fairways and greens. Other amenities at the club include a swimming pool with jacuzzi, a fitness center, and an excellent restaurant that serves international dishes. These are located in the exclusive clubhouse – in Tudor architectural style –, as is the well-equipped pro shop. The Vintage Club offers various other sports services as well, such as a driving range with practice greens as well as very experienced caddies. The semi-private club is also open to guests every day.
