Tiara Melaka Golf &Country Club

The Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club can be found in the Malaysian village of Bukit Katil in the southwestern state of Melaka. It lies on the grounds of a former rubber plantation and tin mine. From the center of Bukit Katil, the Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club can be reached in about 80 minutes from Port Dickson. It was founded in 1994 and is home to three 9-hole courses with par 36, created by the three golf course architects Nelson, Haworth, and Wright. The Lake Course, measuring 3,292 meters, presents broad as well as narrow fairways lined by tropical trees and shrubs, and also large, partly huge greens. Doglegs and plenty of water determine the course’s level of difficulty. The Meadow Course is 3,215 meters long and possesses open fairways, partly bordered by Chinese fan palms and shrubs. Water at holes 2 as well as 7 to 9 makes the game more tricky. The Woodland Course measures 3,292 meters and meanders across wavy terrain through a jungle with an abundance of trees. The 27-hole park at the Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club is deemed one of the best golf courses in Malaysia. In 2007, the International Golf Magazine voted the course the fourth best in the country.
