Trump National Doral Golf Club – Red Tiger Course

The Trump National Doral Golf Club is located near the metropolis of Miami, Dade County, Florida. From Miami, the club can be reached via FL 836 W in 25 minutes. Founded in 1962, the Trump National Doral Golf Club has four 18-hole championship courses: Blue Monster, Golden Palm, Red Tiger, and the Silver Fox. The Blue Monster Course, type meadowland with par 72, was opened in 1962 and was originally designed by Dick Wilson. It was redesigned by Gil Hanse, along with Golden Palm and Red Tiger in 2014. The 6,874-meter long, flat course is characterized by long fairways, wavy greens, deep bunkers, and water hazards. Opened in 1964 and originally designed by Robert von Hagge, the Red Tiger Course, type New England with par 72, has two island greens at holes 6 and 14 and boasts water at 14 holes. The fairways pass several lakes. The Golden Palm Course at the Trump National Doral Golf Club was opened in 1967. Originally designed by Robert von Hagge, the course (type links with par 71) is characterized by its many bunkers surrounded by roughs and the strongly contoured greens. The Silver Fox Course, type desert with par 71, was opened in 2000. Greg Norman was responsible for its design. The course has a great many bunkers and water hazards at 16 out of the 18 holes.
