Turkey Run Golf Club

The Turkey Run Golf Course lies in the city of Waveland in Montgomery County, which is part of the US state of Indiana. It lies just a few minutes to the east of the Turkey Run State Park, on a wavy terrain with majestic trees, near the banks of Lake Waveland, and the Demaree Creek flows through it. From Waveland’s city center, the Turkey Run Golf Club can be reached in four minutes via the IN-47 S, while the trip from the capital Indianapolis comfortably takes 69 minutes via the Interstate 74 and the IN-234 W. It opened an 18-hole course with par 72 and a length of 5,964 meters in 1973. Golf course architect Gary Kern took on the design of the course. Conceived as a championship course, the Turkey Run Golf Club’s course particularly convinces with its undulating greens and water hazards. The challenging course presents no less than four different tee boxes, so that everyone can find the suitable tee for their handicap. Both inexperienced and advanced golfers get their money’s worth on this course. In its practice area, the Turkey Run Golf Club offers players eager to train a driving range with 18 tees, a putting green as well as a chipping area. Golf clubs, trolleys and electric carts can be rented by golfers.
