Waitomo Golf Club

The golfing facilities are close to the world-renowned Waitomo Caves, which are known to many as a filming location of the “Lord of the RIngs” movies. They are located in the western part of the North Island, around 65 kilometers to the south of Hamilton. The 18 hole, par-72 course measures 5,875 meters. Golfers can meet up before or after their round at the pretty clubhouse. From here, you can enjoy the splendid views over the golf course. The club is easy to reach by car, Waitomo is around ten, and Otorohanga four kilometers away. The fantastic Waitomo Caves are a real must-see, with glowworms with blue-shimmering threads hanging from the caves ceilings – a magical sight!
